Give your pond bed room to breathe again

Careful sediment withdrawal that respects the liner, the plants, and the fish living above it all.

Back to home

The promise

By the end of this visit, the organic sediment that's settled over past seasons is lifted out, the shelf and margin areas are rinsed, and your basin has noticeably more depth than it did that morning — all without disturbing the liner beneath.

The problem

Two or more seasons without attention is enough for leaf litter, fish waste and decaying plant matter to settle into a thick layer on the bed. It's easy to miss day to day, but it gradually reduces depth, encourages algae, and puts extra load on your filtration — often the actual reason a pump has started working harder than it used to.

The solution

A low-suction vacuum unit draws sediment away in stages, rather than one aggressive pass that risks catching the liner. Where fish are present, they're moved first into an aerated holding tank filled with water from their own pond, so the transition is as gentle as it can be.

The experience

Expect roughly half a day, worked through methodically rather than rushed. Plant baskets are lifted, checked, and returned to their original spots, and any notes on root condition are shared with you before we leave. Fish are returned only once levels have stabilised.

The investment

¥3,600

  • · Staged sediment withdrawal, up to 25m³
  • · Partial water exchange of up to 30%
  • · Rinse of shelf and margin areas
  • · Liner inspection and removal of extracted material

Larger basins are scheduled across two visits.

The proof

Withdrawal is staged and measured against depth at three points, so the amount removed can be judged rather than guessed at. A gentler load on your filtration and a visible gain in depth are the realistic, immediate signs of a job done properly.

The guarantee

If anything about the liner or plant baskets looks concerning during the visit, we'll flag it plainly rather than quietly working around it. A no-obligation conversation beforehand is always available if you'd like to talk through scope first.

Next steps

Let us know your pond's approximate size and whether fish are present, and we'll arrange a suitable half-day slot.
