Manage your preferences
Use the toggles below to adjust which cookies are active on this site. Essential cookies cannot be disabled, as the site would not function properly without them.
Your rights
- The right to withdraw your consent at any time using the controls above.
- The right to request access to any data collected via cookies.
- The right to data portability, where technically applicable.
- For any data requests, please use our Contact page.
Managing cookies elsewhere
- Preferences set here apply site-wide, including on the homepage cookie banner.
- Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies independently of this page.
- Disabling non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site or submit a contact enquiry.
Cookie Usage & Opt-Out Options
Cookies help us improve your experience, but their use is optional. If you do not wish to be tracked via cookies, you can:
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
- Use browser extensions or tools to manage cookie permissions.
- Contact us to request removal of any related data that may have been collected.
You are free to browse our website without accepting cookies or submitting personal information. We honor your choice and ensure compliance with your privacy preferences.
What the panel remembers
Our cookie panel saves one small entry in your browser, named cookie_consent, listing which optional categories you allowed. It sits in local storage on your own device, is read back when you return so the panel stays out of your way, and holds nothing about you or your pond.
Categories in plain terms
- Functionality and security storage: always on; they remember your choice and keep the enquiry form from sending twice.
- Analytics: off unless you allow it; it would show us, in aggregate, which pages about water reading, sediment or filtration people find useful.
- Advertising storage, user data and personalisation: off unless you allow them; relevant only if we measure an advertisement for one of our visits.
- Personalisation: off by default and not used for anything you would notice.
Where your choices go
If an analytics or advertising tool is connected, the panel passes your choices to it through Google's consent mode. We do not share cookie information with pump makers, filter suppliers or any other business, and it is never sold.
Saying no to everything
Rejecting all optional cookies has no effect on what you can see or do here. Prices for each visit, the description of how fish are looked after during sediment work and the enquiry form all work exactly the same, and your message is answered in the usual order.
Reviewing this policy
We look at this page again whenever a tool on the site changes, and once a year in late winter, before the spring weeks when ponds wake up and enquiries increase. If a new category is ever added, the panel will ask you again rather than assume your earlier answer covers it.
Questions about cookies
Write to info@silt-meshvault.com or call +81 3 3807 3634 if you would like to know what is stored about your visit. Letters can be sent to Silt Mesh Vault, 2-44-2 Higashinippori, Arakawa-ku, Tokyo 116-0014.
On shared devices
The preference entry belongs to one browser on one device. On a family tablet or a shared computer, the choice made by one person applies to everyone using that browser until site data is cleared.
Our emails
Emails we send with condition notes or visit details contain no tracking images, and their links carry no identifiers, so we never know whether a message has been opened.
If something looks wrong
If the cookie panel keeps reappearing even after you have made a choice, your browser may be set to clear site data on closing. That is a browser setting rather than something we control, and it does no harm.
Cookies and children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen through cookies or the enquiry form.
